More Memories
This is how old my kids were 2 months after we moved to Vegas! They've grown up a lot in the last 2 years, don't you think?
Remember that photo I posted of Daniel conked out in the car? This is Kenneth in 2004.
It's cool to have a fire fighter for an aunt! (2004)
We all enjoyed riding in the engine! (2004) Except Steve...apparently he took the picture.
Horse back riding in Conroe
Aren't Kenneth and Nathan so little? We accompanied the horses (as you can see) and I believe I did the whole walk with Daniel on my hip. It was fun for them and I'm so glad we did that. All of this was due to Missy's overactive planning gland. I would never have put this together - but it was so great. Thanks, Mis!

Conroe Vacation
Daniel - what a little boy!
Kenneth is wearing an outfit that Daniel is already growing out of! I can't believe how fast time goes.
This picture just cracks me up every time I look at it! This is Benjamin, Missy's 2nd. He came out at 10 pounds and never quit growing! The floaties built into the suit don't have any "slimming" effect, do they?
Nathan & Kenneth doing a craft.
In 2004, while her tile was being re-done, Missy came to see me for 2 weeks. She was pregnant with Gilbert and felt awful, but I'm glad she came anyway. We spent some of the time in Conroe, Texas. It was so beautiful and we had a great time. The kids got to ride horses and do crafts and of course we went swimming. It was wonderful. When we went back to Austin we went boating on Lake Austin. That was a long trip for her to make, but I'm so glad she did!
Round Rock Express
The summer of 2002, John Buck played for the Round Rock Express. John is married to my cousin, Brooke. We made MANY MANY MANY happy memories that summer with the 2 of them and at the ball field. John now plays for the Kansas City Royals. These photos weren't taken in 2002 - because Daniel is in the photos. I think they were taken in 2003 at the Astros/Express exhibition game.
Fun times
We had some fun times in Texas...and a lot of time was spent on the soccer field. I especially like the team photo because everyone is looking at the professional photographer except Kenneth - he's smiling at me. Isn't that cute?!!?
Snow in Texas - Feb 2004
Can you believe my boys used to be that little? We only had snow a handful of times in our 7 years we were in Texas and this was one of them.

Trip to Fresno
Kenneth & Steve went to Fresno last weekend to help Steve's mom & sister move. They did a great job! Here's Kenneth and Grandma Ackerman:
Kenneth and Sara:
Grandma & Sara bought Kenneth a VERY NICE set of scriptures for his birthday - thanks!
They also spoiled him with a cake (which we are still nibbling at!):

Fun in the sun
This morning at 3am Steve & Kenneth left for Fresno to help Steve's mom move. So - Daniel, Caitlin & I had the day to ourselves. When we couldn't locate the slinky from Chuck E. Cheese's this morning (I thought it was left at Red Robin), I decided to take the kids to KB Toys to get new slinkys. Caitlin loved the little pink "dresser/mirror" with matching pink/purple stool:
Later today (after naps) we went to a park with water. Daniel took his bike and once most of the kids left I let him ride around the water in it. Caitlin was VERY hesitant at first, but eventually joined in.

Tired....
As the night wore on (at Red Robin) Daniel got more and more tired, and Caitlin got more and more loopy (she was really funny and making all kinds of faces). Daniel didn't quite make it home awake...as you can see.
The newest Layton
This is Kenneth's new Gecko, Leapeth. He chose the gecko out himself and he named it, too. He's very excited about his new Gecko, and rightly so. He's been very patient and this has been 2 years in coming. Congratulations, and Happy Birthday my son.
