Deception Pass - the first time
Isn't this funny? Caitlin was lifting her sandwich above the grasses when she walked down to the beach.
This is the first time we went to Deception Pass. We stopped at a bay before we got there - it was foggy when we got there, but cleared up by the time we left. Nancy took these lovely photos.

Snoqualmie Falls
This is the one that I told you was 269 feet high. It was beautiful and the hike was short, but steep. We had a hard time keeping the boys ON the trail (see photo of them climbing tree/roots).

Picking Blackberries
We picked blackberries both Sundays that Debbie was here. We made 2 cobblers, and I froze 14 cups for later jam projects. I will get more as they continue to ripen. They are EVERYWHERE here.

Ferry Rides
This is to represent all the many ferry rides we've taken in the last 10 days. I LOVE riding the ferry, and so do my children. Debbie & Nancy enjoyed it, too.
Boating on American Lake
Kenneth, the pro.
This is a welcome sight - it was so good to have Debbie back on our boat with us.
Steve, on his lake, in his boat, with Mt. Rainier in the back ground.
Mount Rainier at sunset - beautiful.
More Sequim Photos
The top 2 are the Dungeness Spit. The 3rd one is of baby peacocks - aren't they cute? And the bottom one is of a bear at the Olympic Game Farm.

Ballard Locks
This is maybe THE coolest flower I've ever seen. It is literally 4 layers. It is amazing.
The entry to the Locks - isn't it beautiful?
Look how big the salmon is!
Debbie & the kids at the locks.
Dungeness Spit
I have to say that this hair do got more comments than anything else over the past 4 days. That's right - we just bathed her lower half, and the hair do lasted and EVERYWHERE we went we got AT LEAST one comment on her hair do. Thanks, Shauna!!!
This is the Dungeness Spit - and 2 of our very favorite people in the world. We had a great time with them here.
