Someone asked me once if kids were more than 2 years apart, would they ever be friends? Well, these 2 are 4 years and 3 months apart and are inseparable these days. I love it.

Steve & I spent 4 days in the Nevada Desert learning to use a handgun. We had a great time and we learned a lot. We were exhausted at the end of each day from standing outside and learning so much information, but we are glad we went.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Everyone at our house was excited about St. Patrick's Day this morning! It started with a green breakfast of eggs, pancakes and milk. Each child carefully planned their outfit (except Patrick - his PJ's just happened to have green on them). All of my life St. Patrick's Day has been especially fun because it's also my sister, Angela's birthday. This morning the kids pointed out that now it's extra fun because we have a PATRICK!!! Cool! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Is this not the coolest tree ever? This tree is near Crescent Lake on the Washington Peninsula. We played on it when we visited last August. So fun! Look at all that moss!!!

How has it been a YEAR??? Crazy. My baby is 1. He is the 2nd child I have nursed on his 1st birthday. He is a sweet, loving, happy addition to our family. We are very blessed. We love you PATRICK!!!

Kenneth was getting dressed when I laid Patrick down for his nap this morning. When Kenneth went to leave, Patrick was sad, so Kenneth laid in his bed and pretended to be asleep until Patrick fell asleep. What a good brother....

The world won't be the same....

Steve's mama passed away earlier this evening. We are all deeply saddened. She was a wonderful woman, mother & grandmother. The world just won't be the same without her.

FIRST TOOTH!!!

I discovered Patrick's first tooth today in the Electronics Department at the local Wal*Mart. He's 8 months and 4 days. Congratulations "Toothy"!!
