The second to last picture almost looks like a corn field in Iowa. I'm sure that was a bit of a challenge for driving. It looks like it was blowing a little over the roads. Yuck!
Those are vineyards. There are several in eastern Washington near our house. It is a "viticultural area" with lots of wineries. Joy and Steve stayed at our house on graduation weekend, we live a bit over two hours from University of Idaho. The orange on his robe stands for engineering, cant remember what the gold is for. It was a great commencement. Congrats Steve!
The orange is for engineering, the silver and gold are the colors of the University of Idaho...Thanks Tania again for coming, and letting us stay at your place.
