Second Batch
This is the only sweatshirt I bought today - it's kind of a light sweat shirt. It says Girl Power on it, and it's dark purple. It's $2.99 & it's 4T.
This is a fully-lined dress & blouse set. It is 5 and it's $3.99.
This is a pair of comfy pants - size 5/6 $2.99. This one has "fitted" ankles, so they stay up even though they're a little long.
This is another pair of comfy pants - size 5/6 $2.99. This one has ankles that flare, so they drag a bit for Caitlin.

General Conference

I love General Conference. For 2 straight days the Heavens Open and we are taught by messengers from God. I appreciate the opportunity to listen to our prophet and other church leaders teach us about basic Gospel concepts, as well as give us council. We can re-read the messages or re-listen by going to lds.org.

Fashion Police
One more tidbit about Caitlin...we're walking to the bus stop this morning, and I'm holding her hand and she says, "Mom - why are you wearing Daddy's pants?" W-H-A-T!?!? Yes, I am wearing men's jeans - not Steve's, just for the record, but men's jeans nonetheless. HOLY COW! How did she ever figure that out? I am totally scared for what is to come if my barely 3 year old notices that I'm wearing men's jeans. Ooooooeeeeee we are in trouble.
Update
Our lives are just chugging away...we enjoyed some beautiful weather last week, and now we're enjoying some moisture. The boys are both really happy with school and Caitlin LOVES her pre-school.
We started a new chore regimen, and it's going well so far. It's been one full week and it helps the boys know what's expected and aleviates me having to remind them of every little thing to do every other minute. Daniel can even read all his chores and they have lists to check off - with vis a vis pens, and that is so fun for them. Kenneth is vacuuming every day, in addition to various other chores, and I LOVE IT!!! We also did a deep clean on their room last week and they've been keeping it clean and it is SO NICE! Steve & I are trying to keep our room cleaner and our bed made as well. It really does make a difference.
Caitlin is still loving dance - one cute story - this last Wednesday I had spaced dance and I was making bread when I realized it was 4:37pm (dance starts at 4:45). We hurried and got her clothes changed and the boys took their snacks into the car and I hurried and rolled out my bread (french) so it could rise again and we were off. We got there at about 4:48 (yes, it's close) - and as I ran in with Caitlin I told her to tell her teacher she was sorry she was late. So - she goes RUNNING into the room (with the ballet music playing softly in the back ground and all the girls stretching on the floor) and YELLS "SORRY I'M LATE!" It was so cute.
The boys are loving soccer and they each improve every week. It is really fun to watch them play.
Steve's deadline is dragging ON and ON and ON...(Why do I expect a deadline to actually end?) He's going to have a great weekend with the kids, though, since I'm going to Las Vegas.

Autumn is coming
The nights are cooling off, and the leaves are changing colors. This is my view out of my big window at the front of the house. That is a maple tree. Somehow there is nothing in the world quite like a red maple leaf. I'll be sad when all the leaves fall off and my view is of nothing but branches, but I'm enjoying it now!

We have a dancer in the house...
Wednesday was Caitlin's first day of dance. I made her a tu-tu and she was stylin'. EVERY other girl was in pink...
She was very disappointed that they didn't actually DANCE in their class on Wednesday. They stretched and played a game and twirled around, but, according to Caitlin they didn't dance. It's just a city class that lasts 5 weeks, so we'll see how she likes it.
Last Weekend
We rented a splitter, chopped wood, and we were sore all over. The wood is piled 3 rows deep under the tarp - clearly the stack to the left is larger. We were pooped and we still had all those stumps that we didn't get to. Maybe we'll rent the splitter again in the spring.... :O)

Make-Up Incident
Well, it is somewhat amazing that we've made it 3 years before having photos like these to share. Caitlin found some lip stick.....the photos speak for themselves.

Bus and Soccer
Daniel was SOOOOO excited to ride the bus!
Daniel had an assist (pictured above) - he passed at the last second - threw off the goalie and his teammate scored...well done, son.
Isn't he a cute soccer player? He is LOVING it! He works out with his team on Thursdays and works out on Tuesdays and Fridays with Kenneth's team.
