New xrays, morphine, and now he's sleepy

Checked in to the hospital.

Daniel is checked in.  Now we wait.

Made it home

3am and we are tired.

All done

The doc said everything went great.  She said it took longer because he was chatty, so it took a while before they could put him under.  Lol! We love you, Daniel.

Surgery tonight

Meet with the orthopedist..... Daniel will have surgery around 10 pm. 

Another note: Daniel has been very nervous each step of the way today.  I have tried to be proactive and prepare him, but it has still been a very overwhelming day for him.  On our drive to the hospital, we saw a FULL rainbow.  We decided that was God's way of reassuring Daniel that everything would be OK.  It was very very sweet.

Sweet Daniel went to a trampoline place this morning and 5 minutes into it fell down and tried to catch him self and broke his elbow and his wrist in the process.

Yay!!! Finally the way we wanted it in the first place.

Daniel and Caitlin tested in january and were both invited to participate in the advanced classes st school next year.

Caitlin has been complaining for a long time that she can't see very well.  After taking her in twice, we finally switched eye doctors.  Sure enough, she needs glasses.  She chose some darling purple frames...they should arrive in 2 weeks.

Someone asked me once if kids were more than 2 years apart, would they ever be friends? Well, these 2 are 4 years and 3 months apart and are inseparable these days. I love it.

Steve & I spent 4 days in the Nevada Desert learning to use a handgun. We had a great time and we learned a lot. We were exhausted at the end of each day from standing outside and learning so much information, but we are glad we went.
